Upcoming Movie: Turistas

The year is almost over and hollywood is still dishing out more movies by the week. Specially since many of the movies that are nominated for an academy award usually run during this time. With that said, don't expect this movie to be nominated for an Oscar by a longshot. The movie Turistas is a slasher/thriller film that is set in the amazon, enough say. You can bet there will be lots of blood and screaming. Although I've given up on the genre in the last couple of years, from what I've read and seen this one might be worth the ticket.

Classic Cover

This has to be one of my favorite album covers.

Is The PS3 Worth $600?

Okay, so today was the big day for all the nerds, geeks and weirdos. The average gamer, who I like to describe as a part-time gamer, who usually spends 3-5hrs a month playing videogames most likely will have more sense in their head and wait a year or two than to go out a spend all this money. I mean seriously $600 for videogame machine?? You got to be joking, what can it possibly do that will blow my mind away? The Blu-ray thing is useless, the graphics are equal to xbox360's For $600 it better do your income taxes. Sadly though, there are many who go to the extreme and would actually spend over $5,000 to $10,000! The way people workship and live for the cheap thrills that technology and entertainment offer is pathetic and creepy. There has to be a balance or something.
